Hello all,
I have a Thinkpad 701C I bought recently in as-is condition. Unfortunately,
when I plug in the power supply, no lights come on, and nothing happens when
I flip the power switch.
The AC adapter I'm using I purchased from IBM for this model. I checked the
voltage, and it's correct: 10-16VDC, 2.2A ... I also used a voltage meter to
make sure the power supply was working, and it is, with the tip being +.
Any ideas? Is there a fuse in this machine that might be blown? Is there a
common cause for this kind of symptom? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Tony
