Hi!

This may be also of interest to the Linux-commnity.

Finally I got it working with Randals help using the attached PRC (thanks to
Randal I finally got the right one) on the Palm and Pilotlink for OS/2. May
be the same in Linux as well. Additionally I need the following Batch-Job:

@Echo off
Echo [ PalmPilot Backup - Complete ]
SET PILOTRATE=19200
mode com3: %pilotrate%,NONE,8,1
E:
cd \Pilot\Pilotlink
E:\PILOT\PilotLink\pilot-xfer.exe COM3 -b F:\PalmPilot\Backup

which will create a complete backup of the Pilot to F:\PalmPilot\Backup. I
got it working up to 19200 BPS. Cause I can use more (up to I think 57600
bps) when establishing IR-connections between two TP's (I use ZOC for that) I
think 19200 is the limit of Palm III. On higher speeds I got only some weired
packages and a breakdown of connection. I use as mentioned in my earlier mail
a TP 760XD and Palm III OS 3.0.2.
