I just upgraded to a 600 and was able to move everything over from a 760XL
using a parallel port tape drive. I had the original preload (NT40 SP3) on
the 600, installed the driver for the tape drive, and restored the system
partition from the 760XL over the 600's. Once I had both notebooks up and
running, I pulled my data partition over the network. I had to reload the
video, audio, and infrared drivers and TP utility, of course, but my
registry, desktop, and network settings survived the transfer intact. So
far, so good, and a lot less painful than having to dig up the various
floppies and cds to reinstall all my apps from scratch and then find and
apply all the upgrades.

Oh yes, I uninstalled CardWizard. What a pig. I don't plan to be swapping
cards around, so I didn't need the overhead.
