IBM Thinkpad 600 - Advice

Hi:

I am considering buying a Thinkpad 600 with PII300 MHz, 128MB SDRAM,
5.1GB SMART, 2MB SGRAM, 24X CD, 1.44FDD, 13.3 TFT and other stuff
(modem, 10/100 Ethernet PC Card etc.). for approx $2800.

I am wondering if Thinkpad experts out there have some thoughts on if
that is an excellent/bargain/average price. In addition any experiences
on the Thinkpad 600 that might help ?
