Since upgrading to win98 on the Thinkpad 770ED Ring Central is not working properly. After the first call I do not get any sound. I have tried changing the program settings for Ring Central not to adjust volume automatically and this had no effect eigther. It seems as though the program mutes all the settings anyway.

I did find that by changing the settings under advanced in the Audio section of Multimedia from the default of Stereo Speakers to Laptop Speakers I finally get sound in Netmeeting and the dialing tone for the modem.

Anyone have ideas as to what the problem is with Ring Central? I have build 4.10.97. There is an upgrade for user of 4.10.87 to 4.10.104 but it will not work on the 4.10.97 build.
