I've been using a HP-7200 parallel port burner for the last 4 or so months
on my 770. It writes at 2x and even writes CD-RW which really is a real
bonus for testing out CD layouts, making a file or two change and reburning
it without throwing away countless CD (which I used to do). It works real
well, but I don't leave it plugged in all the time, because it can be a bit
quirky with other software. It's also hot plugable/unplugable, so very easy
to move between machines. Also quite cheap, comes with heaps of software,
Norton av4, Corel stuff, directCD, CD creator deluxe etc. I'd recommend it
if you are not doing heaps of CDs. I think the new model (already, arrgghh,
computers!!) is 4x write, 8000 series.

Email me if you want any info.

Later,
Andreas!!
:-)
