To all TP 600E owners,
I'm currently running 98 on my 600E and would like to switch over
to NT. I've tried installing NT in the past but gave up because NT
was so unforgiving with it's resources.
After reading some threads in the group in the past couple on months,
it seems there are some 600E users out there that are running NT. Is there
any special Tips or configurations I should apply or watch out for...SP3 or
SP4?
The major problem was com port errors that resulted in various "event"
errors. If I recall,
this was a very "picky" situation in NT. My options is to use the following.
Any tips or recommendations is greatly appreciated.
1) 3Com Combo Cardbus Card
2) Xircom Realport Combo Cardbus Card
3) Mwave modem with the 3com or Xircom for just NIC access
Before I take the plunge and do a format <g>, I'd like to get some feedback.
