I have used alcohol-based monitor screen wipes on a 755Cs, 760EL, and a
770 over the last 4 years without problems. I suppose the screens get
cleaned every couple of weeks (I try not to touch them, so they stay
pretty clean). These wipes also work great for cleaning the entire
keyboard area of ThinkPads and keyboards of desktop PCs. I have also
started using a can of compressed air to blow the dust of the entire
laptop every once in a while.
