I bought an IBM Enhanced Port Replicator for my Thinkpad 385XD last
week, and so far have been happy with it. But the power on light
would not come on tonight, despite several attempts to install the
thinkpad into the port replicator. Although I could get power to the
thinkpad I could not make the replicator see the PCMCIA card.
IBM was very good about it when I called, and said they would send me a
new one ASAP - they want me to send the old one back. But is the
failure of the port replicator a common occurence? What has other
people's experience been?
