Hi,

I just got a Thinkpad i1410 (the only one that fit my student budget!)
and I want to run Dragon Naturally Speaking for Corel Suite 8 on it.
I've been told that the microphone needs a "boost", either through an
adapter/converter especially made for Thinkpads, or an auxiliary power
supply (the Andrea APS-100). The Dragon software came with a
Corel-stamped microphone, so my question is this: is anyone else
running this programme on their Thinkpad with the the Corel microphone,
and if so, what are you using to boost the microphone power? I need to
know which option to buy - the adapter or the auxiliary power supply.

Thanks,

Maryka
