Apricorn, thinkpad proven memory manufacturer, and Goldenram, IBM
approved memory manufacturer..
both are located in southern california and make the memory in house..
(no, not the chips, the assembly)
you can't entirely believe what IBM says..
Apricorn is the only manufacturer of the 32meg DIMM carrier for the
thinkpad 760E series..
IBM did not even KNOW that could be done until after Apricorn did it..
:-)
if you want to try the part, and it does NOT work, then return it.. no
problem..
i just sent two to england (for 380 series) and one for a 770..
