I used the backup utility that's built into NT to back up the entire system
partition from the 760XL to tape and then restored the entire partition

I initially tried wiping the 600's drive, doing a minimal NT install (just
enough to be able to do the restore) and then restoring the 760 to the 600.
That didn't work (wouldn't even boot), so I reloaded the 600's preload and
then restored the backup of the 760 to the 600. Once the restore was
complete, I had to install the 600's drivers and its version of the
utilities to get all the pieces to work right.

Once I had the 600 up and running on the network, I copied the data
partition from the 760 over to the 600 via the network.

Whole thing took me an afternoon and part of an evening - a large part of
which was listening to the tape drive grind away. I probably should have
just Ghosted the 760 to a network drive and restored it to the 600, but
I've never actually used Ghost, and the tape drive was handy.
