I can't confirm the new model, but I do know that the 1451 can use
the LiON battery. I was supposed to get one with my 1451, but there
wern't any available according to the place I got my TP from (Corporate
Raider). Subsequent calls to other TP dealers seems to confirm this;
they are rare right now, perhaps being reserved for the higher end
models? With the LiON battery you're supposed to be able to get up to
3.8 hours of life out of it, which is better than the the 2.1 hours I'm
squeezing out the my NiMH battery.
