My 560x appears to be plastic. I thought all thinkpads were - or are
you refering to internal structure? Speaking of internal structure -
does anybody have pictures on the web of what the inside of a 560 looks
like. I like to take things apart, and would like to disassemble my
560x - fear of not being able to put it back together is stopping me :-O

To the original poster - I bought my 560x sight unseen - I don't know of
any normal consumer retail places where you can go to play with
thinkpads (other than i series). IMO 560 really has a quality "feel" to
it - gives me that warm fuzzy feeling of having bought a quality
product. If you buy mail order I think you can expect to be
satisfied.
