the story behind this is long and somewhat byzantine..
so lets leave it to the fact that there are 4 memory "lines" on the 760E
series..
one for each DIMM socket, one for the 8meg on the planar board and one for the
DIMM carrier..
the switch allows the DIMM carrier memory line to be used by the DIMM sockets
secong 32meg of the 64meg part.. so it can see the second 32meg of the 64meg
part..
