Hi,
very recently, I started using hibernation instead of suspending to
``switch off'' my Linux-running TP600 (2645-210) at night or during
breaks. I hope that this is less strainful on the battery than suspending
(and recharging). I want my second battery to last a bit longer than the
9 months of the first battery. So far, so good.
Now I noticed that both hardware and system clock of the machine are late.
They lose a relatively large amount of time each day, approximately 20
minutes a day. Fortunately, the ``hwclock'' command in Linux helps me to
get the correct time again.
Does anybody have an explanation for this behaviour?
Thanks,
Alexander
