I have the EXTERNAL version and using the Adaptec PCMCIA to write to the
drive.
I'm happy with the 8/20 version.

Subject: [TP770ED]: Using a Plextor CDRecorder
I am thinking of buying a Plextor CDRecorder (either 4/12 or 8/20) to use
with my Thinkpad 770ED - 9549-5AU.
Has anyone tried this before? If so, should I expect any problems? Keep
in mind that I will be using the internal Ultrabay II DVD Drive as a
source.
