not sure about the 380 series..
ibm has been using different ez setup/bios configueration utilities on different series
machines and i'm only familiar with the one that has been on the senior machines since
the 750..
note that the new 570 has a different ez setup utility.. way different from what i'm
accustomed to see...
to your question, i would not worry too overmuch about the "XXXX" 's until you have a
problem..
also note that its usually permitted to up level and down level the bios, but not reload
the SAME bios level..
