among other replies that you'll get, the most important item, besides
all the most recent drivers is to update your bios to the most recent..

also, there appears to be a document that will give you whatever hints
required for updateing each thinkpad model to win98..

AND <g> i think i may have one or two hints on my web site, which, i am
now engaged in reconstructing from the ground up to make things easier
to find..

lastly, there is always this list and my confrence to ask about any
specific difficulty plus the CSi thinkpad forum and the IBM confrence...
