I understood from the earlier discussion about this, that it's
difficult or an extra function to scale the 800x600 out the
external connection to 1024x768 on the internal display.
What I couldn't figure out (and never asked), was why they have to
scale the 800x600 to 1024x768. Why not just display the 800x600 on
the LCD in the middle? Or top-left, bottom-left, or whatever? I'm
sure you (Randal) wouldn't care where the image was, if you could
see it on your internal display. You might even prefer that, if
there were serious distortions in the scaling.
Or am I overlooking something else again?
