Hello List Members !!!!

I have a TP770Z ( 9549-8AU) with win98. trying to install Windows 2000 Beta
3 as a "clean" install on a virtual disk. I upgraded the BIOS as instructed
by IBM ( has to do with ACPI issues... ) but to no avail. After the
restart - the machine hangs. this occurs right after NTDETECT V5.0 starts
running. I left it "hanging" for 30 minutes - thinking maybe the H/W device
detection process takes a long time - but - nothing happens..

anybody has any ideas ??? suggestions ????

p.s. does anybody no how to unistall windows 2000 ?? ( maybe I need to
start from a clean bill of health.... )
