you are NOT SOL unless the drive is destroyed..
you CAN remove the HDD from the 755 shell and, with an adapter, use it on a
desktop..
(i built up a very basic PC using a 340meg drive from an old TP, and its still
running after almost two years in daily use!)
also, depending on the amount of data and/or the size of the HDD, many list
members can extract the data to another HDD or write it to a CD..
also, have you tried one of the utilities, like EZ Drive or Ontrack..??
in short, that drive should work in the 350 with little problem...
and if thats a problem, many hereabouts have old 755CD and CE machines that'll
read your HDD..
what I would do, is pop that drive out of the shell, and into a 2nd HDD adapter,
slide it into the ultrabay of a 770 on my network and VIOLA! files saved to
whereever i want to put 'em.. :-)
