Mike answered most all your questions irt the 600 vs. the 770..
if some of those drives are 12.5mm then you can EASILY use them in the 600E..
no shells, only a metal bracket..
i have them at $20 each (single piece price) and i'll do a good discount since you have gotten
stuff, are a list member, and so on..
but in reality, you don't absolutely NEED the bracket.. it provieds a place for the tape
handle and keeps the drive from floppying around in the drive bay or ultraslim bay...

if you CAN get a 770Z, its super..

the 64meg part MIGHT work in the 600E, but my vendors have seperate p/n's for the 600 and 770
series..
