looks like you were both right..

now its on that little windows 98 setup window, updating system settings..

and

finally done..
and i see no differences thus far..

not sure the floppy being there or not had anything to do with it..

another interesting thing, when it came to the serial number window, the 25
character serial number was already displayed..!
