Hi I'm New to this group and I have a few questions about a laptop I just
bought..and I'm hoping some of you might be able to answer them for me..
is this a very good laptop..??
I bought over the internet a IBM ThinkPad 755cx..p/75 it has NOW 40 megs of
ram and is loaded when I got it it only had IBM dos 5.0 on it..win 95
osr2...thinking about putting Win 98 on it (yes or No)???
I saw some mention about upgrading to a faster processor is the possible and
is it worth it..??
the battery seems to be good holds a charge for well over and hour..with me
playing quake even it still holds up well on the battery..
question number one
there is a battery icon on the desktop..one says when clicked the battery
will be discharged one and then recharged ..how often should I do this..??
the next one is hibernation what is this and do I need it..??
next one is how do I get the speaker phone to work...??
whats the biggest harddrive that I can install in the computer....??
what is a good network card for this computer..??
