Jeff,

I do this all the time. It shows up with a black sceen with only a password
prompt visible as soon as I press Fn or open the lid. It waits for it before
begining the resume operation.

I've got a 770-1AU (9549-1AU). I didn't do anything special. Just set the
bios with power on password. FWIW, I have passwords for both Power on and
Supervisor (different ones). Nothing to do with windows, I've seen the box
for it somewhere in the power config, but I don't use that.
