Hi all,
I purchased one of these 3com multifunction cards several months ago on one of their
promotional deals. It is now supported under the latest linux pcmcia, so I decided to try
it out. It seems to work great. In fact, it "cooks" (so to speak :). After using it a while, the
card is almost too hot to hold. All this heating takes power, and as expected battery life
takes a big dive. All my other cards run MUCH cooler. Does someone else on this list
use one of these cards? If so, does it seem to run hot? I want to know if this is to be
expected, or if something is defective with my card. Thanks in advance for the info.
