that 760CD battery should be a NiMH or Li and thus not be subject to shadow
charge, but there is electronics inside that reports the state of charge to
the charger..
thinkpads stop charging is the charge in the battery is 95% or more, thus a
battery charged to 99% won't get more charge until it goes below thast 95%
threshold..
AND, the best way to store a battery in a carry case is in such a way that
errent metalic 'stuff' (a new electronic type term, like "teakettlecord")
won't short out and set the case afire at an embarassing moment, like when
running to catch the last train from zurich ot basel.. :-)
