of batteries that our tests found could run an IBM ThinkPad 560
Pentium MMX-233 notebook for 15 hours, which is five times the lasting
power of ThinkPad's standard battery. Electrofuel's new external
PowerPad 160 battery, priced at $499, will be available for select IBM
and Acer notebooks in September, and may appear on other portables
this fall.
