Aaarrrgh!!!

My TP600 got mad at me when I checked on upgrading the
hard drive. Windoze blew so I started the recovery
process that would just restore C drive rather than
restore the entire hdd to shipped-from-factory
condition, since I have all my data on D drive.

Being of less than sound mind, I chose the wrong
option and the recovery process started to restore
everything to from-factory condition. I realized this
and <esc> out of it after ten seconds but now there's
no C or D drive.

Fdisk shows only one partition, C, and it's not
accessible since there's no O/S on it. Even with a
starup disk it's not recognized.

I couldn't care less about C, but really would like to
get my data off D.

Any ideas?

>From now on I'll have to backup first and check out
upgrading more surreptitiously. The best plan would
have been to get the ultraslim bay hdd adapter from
Bill Morrow and then proceed, something that I was
going to do anyway. Now I'll be reconstructing data
for some time if I can't get it from D drive...
