beware of auctions..
the very essence of an auction is that the instant marketplace will set the
value.. sometimes driven by hysteria, sometimes not..
the question of "condition" which is very important, is capricious, what the
seller thinks of as perfect might mean that the scratches do not go through
the full thickness of the case... while the buyer thinks that a "scuff"
should wipe off with a moistened kleenex..
also, there is the question of operational condition, which is an area i
will leave to the imagination of the reader.. :-)
