yes, you bet..
the fellow's shipping department even sent the thing NON-COD.. i.e. it landed
here and i fedex'd the cashiers check to him..

not as represented..
this machine was advertised as PERFECT.. 10 nhours use, total..
in fact, 10 hours use and 2 years being carried around , in and out of the carry
bag, thus the finish was dull and had several scuff marks..
the 701 is a classic and i only paid that much since i expected PERFECT..
so, i would tend to lean toward downgrading most if not all condition ratings by
at least one point..
and i will NEVER pay first, and then wait for delivery..
i also bought a new startac vader from a fellow who was selling these on ebay..
we spoke on the phone and i found him to be compatible, so i paid and received
exactly what i was expecting, which was a new motorola startac vader cell
phone..
same for an extra battery.. from a different seller..
i have "won" bids on other motorola startac phones, which were, OBVIOUSLY, a con
job..
if the seller won't talk to you on the phone, or the deal is too good to be
true, then it IS too good to be true and i would not get close to it..
(ebay seems tp be the inheritor of all the criminals from the old AOL for sale
lists)
