I just ordered one through Onsale .

Does anyone know if a "point enabler " thingie is available for this beast
.
It's a very small program that sets the registers of the PCMCIA chipset so
that the device is
visible to DOS.
Many times one does not want to load Card and Socket services .
Ugh...
BTW the exact same Drive is available from several other vendors .
They quote a 1 year warranty on this refurbed item.
