I think it boils down to how slowly you can accept it running, NT.

For about $2,550, you could get a TP I series 1472, which has a 366MHz
PII and 64M ram with a 6.4G disk. Add another 64M ram for about
another $80, and you'd have something which should make for a fair
NT system.

Having ordered/used both the i Series 1451/1452/1472 and 390's, I'm
not sure that the 390 is any better a deal. Yes, IBM says the i Series
is a "home / home-office" machine, but I think that is largely a matter
of marketing. The i series are well built machines. I keep running
into little things on other machines that make me glad I got this
TP 1451. My only regret was that the 1472 came out 6 months later. ;-)
