I'm just curious, since I do some video editing on the computer but have
not ever had a DVD player/disc in my machine (or on my TV)...

Can anyone tell me what the frame resolution is on a standard DVD? I
presume it various depending on whether you're using letterbox mode, but
let's say in "standard TV" mode.

And I presume the frame rate is NTSC standard at 30 frames per second?
(technically 29.97 fps).

Any info would be nice to know. :-)
