Hi !

When were on the subject of DVD on the Thinkpad 600 I have some things I've been wondering.

1) Is the several different brands of DVD drives for the 600 or just one >from IBM.

2) Is the viewing quality full screen on the 13,3" screen OK or is the quality much worse than a standalone drive.

3) Can the tv signal be connected to a tv set from the drive if one wants to see the film on a television set. Do the drives have
PAL output or the much dreaded NTSC only?

4) Do I need any special software to access the drive. I guess theres some software to view the movies. Does it only work in win98 ?

I was curious about the area coding too but that seem to have been clarified by now.
