Well the LCD finally went out. The intermittent 'dark screen' became permanent and I could not read a thing without using an external monitor.
Called EZ_Serve and it went out Wed afternoon and returned Friday morning with a new inverter card and they also replaced the palm rest as it was peeling a little on the edge.
Can't complain about EZ-Serve. They did very well.....
