but time to end user is shortening dramatically..!

especially with the announcement of a yet more dense 25 billion bits per sq.
inch yesterday.. or is that 36 billion..
i don't have the announcement in front of me, but it boggles my mind..! :-)

the 25gig is not yet available to us peons, yet a 40+gig looms on the
horizon..
who the H$%# needs 40 or 80 gigs on a thinkpad..??! besides those few of you
who keep the entire contents of the library of congress, including photos, on
their machine...

this all goes back to a time several years ago when i predicted on the
compuserve thinkpad forum that soon, we would all be connected with a chip
implanted behing your ear, to the net and everything else..

need a fact in a debate, and VIOLA! there it is..! on line, in your head..!!
you wife can send you an instruction to "come home now" and VIOLA! there you
are, at home..!! :-)
