not a windows thing (usually) it is either a bios limitation or an
arcitecture thing..
no time to chase this.. comparing IDE specs for these new high capacity
drives and the IDE spec for the older TP's..

i think i'll make this a subject on the new site..

BTW, this new site is NOT due to IBM's complaining about thinkpads.com,
but now i have partners and $$ to spend on the top webboard (ver 4) and
a shopping cart and e-mail and more..

what I want to do is offer e-mail_at_thinkpads.com :-)

but that will happen later..
