I have also heard rumors of a 15" screen on the 770 replacement. I know the
Dell Inspiron 7500 has a new 1400x1048 15" display. While this would not be
a machine for a road warrier, it would be great for those of us who mainly
haul their laptops by car or private plane (i.e. we don't carry it too
much.)

The more screen real estate the better for me! I currently have a 770z with
the 13.7" screen and would love the same screen in a 15" size.

I concur. I want the 13.7" SXGA TFT, and the ability to use the largest
capacity HDs in a form factor that is right between the 600 and 770 series
(preferably 600, but, well, that's not gonna happen, er, right? <g>).
<<POOF>> then I woke up and continued to use my 770z. :)
