The 7500 series has a 15" SXGA+ (1400x1050), and a model
with a 15.4" SXGA (1280x1024). I like the dual floppy/CD
too. The only problems I have with the Inspiron series are
sheer size and bulk (they are freakin' tanks), and the
lack of a trackpoint like pointing device (I detest
trackpads). I would take a 13.7" SXGA in a 600 form factor
over a Inspiron behemoth anyday. :) We had a 7000 in some
months back for a client, and it was *wicked* fast, 3D
accelerated (Well, as much as the Rage Pro chipset can
be considered, "cutting edge,"), huge screen (15"), and
built solidly, but it could have sunk the Titanic on its
own.
