there is a company called Evergreen that does or did upgrades.. not sure if
the 760ED is one of the target machines..
if memory serves, the cost was about $300~

i suggest that you get a newer machine (765D or L) or older 770 or 600, and
sell the 760ED..

the cpu upgrade is not, IMHO, a cost effective solution for a number of
reasons..
