Well it looks like the 12mm travelstar drives will fit the bill, and 4 gigs will probably work. This will be a boon as I can then fit all my OS's (including Linux 4, 5 and 6) onto the one drive instead of having to swap about. Also, the digital camera seems to blow away 100 megs per holiday without really trying. Last holiday I had to start pkzipping the programs I wasn't going to use till I came back....

make that 15mm --> 17mm for the old standard IBM notebook drives.. the 14 and the new 25gig drives are this thickness..

AND

i disagree.. should be "He who LIVES with the most toys wins"
and to be honest, from my personal perspective forget the toys and enjoy what blessing life has given you.. :-)
(BTW, i am NOT 'disrespecting' your sig line<G>)
