I've had two 390Es for several months and have been extremely happy with
them. One is a D0U (64Meg/4.3Gig/300MhZ) the other is a E0U
(64Meg/6.4Gig/333Mhz). Both processors are PII, both have the 14.1" Active
Matrix and 24x CD-ROM.

The only IBM quirk I've found with these machines is that hibernating to a
FAT32 partition seems to be supported until you have trouble. :-) The
symptom on my machine was that it just quit hibernating one day. I fixed
the problem by carving out a 100Meg partition just for the hibernation
file. The other quirks are the usual Win98 kind of problems I've had on
every machine I've owned. The E0U runs FreeBSD as well as Win98 and does
so very well.

Good luck with your new machine if you get it!
