It has to do with the master/slave settings between those drives. The
system is setting your new drive as a slave. You may have to cut some wires
or pins to make it work. Get the data sheets for those drives to see what I
mean (http://www.storage.ibm.com./hardsoft/diskdrdl/hddprod.htm). Make sure
you have the lastest BIOS also.
