Upgrade from a TP 600

Hello all,

I am thinking about buying a new TP. I am currently using a PII266 TP 600
with 92 MB Ram and a large ( 8 GB) hard disk. I also have bought a Selecta
base that I find very convenient. What will be my best buy ? I am not
travelling a lot but I am looking more for a desktop replacement while I
would like to be able to recycle some of my investments (RAM, HD) in a new
PC. I am doing signal analysis and need some processing power. My budget is
limitless if I can convince my boss that this is worth the money ;-)
