To change the ThinkPad passwords read this site:

1. Boot while holding down f1

2. When it asks for the password,
    - enter password
    - hit spacebar once
    - hit ENTER

3. When EasySetup comes up, change the password.

4. Or, hit ESC to have NO password.

Sorry ... the lst URL that I send dealt with the Supervisor
Password.
