Thank you for the answer, I kind of figured it might
be something like the cabling. My question now is,
which pins need to be shorted? Pins 1&2 or 3&4? Keep
in mind also that the drive itself shows no pins
designate it as drive 0.
On my cable, pin 1&2 are the right most pins while 3&4
are right next to them. Pins 5&6 are not used. Can I
just solder the backside of the connector to short the
necessary pins?
