Hey there,
At first I was getting a lot of friction in regards to getting my drive
replaced from IBM, but I later found out that they get a lot of ppl who
forget the HDD passwd and expect them to replace it. Well that wasn't my
case; I sent it to IBM EZServe and it came back not accepting it. Well I
finally found a technician in the RADE dept. who understood my case and
ordered a new drive for me. Cool part was he said that since this machine is
as old as it is, I may end up with a larger drive than the 2.1 that came
with it due to availability! Sweet. So if you ever talk to a William in the
RADE dept., you'v got a good guy on your side...
