Yes actually they did. The first thing that they said would work would be to
set the supervisor passwd to the same as the old HDD password. This would
override the HDD passwd. However in my case, that didn't work. The RADE
technician suggested that maybe the bad system board did something to the
ROM on the HDD which did this.
It would be kinda nice if they would at *least* put some kind of back-door
in the ROM so that you could send the drive to them to be reset...
